User inflow

How to see whether users came from search, social, or AI chatbots, and how many came from each UTM campaign.

In Analytics > User inflow, you see where people (not bots) came from and which pages they viewed. User inflow counts how many times pages were opened, not the number of visitors.

User inflow over time

User inflow by date. The dotted line is the previous period of the same length. The summary at the top shows the user share, external inflow, direct inflow, and moves within your site.

Channels

Channel Meaning
Search Came from search results such as Google or Naver
Social & community Came from a social media or community link
AI chatbots Came from a link in an AI answer such as ChatGPT or Perplexity
Other sites Came from a link on some other site
Direct Typed the address directly, or came from a bookmark or app

Visits that return after finishing a payment or login are treated as Passthrough and counted as moves within your site.

Inflow from AI chatbots

Users who came from each AI service and their share of the total. You can check whether AI answers are citing your site.

Browsers & devices · Pages people viewed most

  • Browsers & devices: The share of your users' browsers and devices
  • Pages people viewed most: A ranking of pages with the most user inflow

Inflows by UTM

Counts only inflows whose address has utm_source attached. Use it to measure ads and newsletters.

  • Under Split by, choose source, medium, campaign, campaign ID, term, or content.
  • Example: https://example.com/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=oct

Traffic source ranking

Ranks the paths people came in from outside (which link on which site). You can group by path, platform, or category, and clicking a row shows the pages people landed on through that path.
