'Requests' are the total number of times an image is loaded via the CDN. 'Transformations' are counted only when you create a new variation (e.g., resize, format change) from the original.
We count them just once per unique URL parameter. For example, if you request `?s=200x200`, it counts as 1 transformation. Subsequent requests for the same size are served from the cache and do not cost extra. Typically, transformations make up only 5-10% of total requests.
Billing occurs early each month (usually between the 2nd and 3rd), covering the usage of the previous month.
