Change your favicon
Change the site icon shown in browser tabs and search results in Weekerp, without changing your original site.
A favicon is the site icon shown in browser tabs and search results. For a site connected to Weekerp, just upload an icon file and it is served at https://your-domain/favicon.ico.
1. Upload an icon
- In the sidebar, open Sites > Advanced and go to the favicon card.
- Click Upload icon and choose a file.
- Check the preview and click Save.
File rules
- ICO or PNG files. A 192×192 PNG is recommended.
- Only files of 100KB or less can be uploaded.
- A warning appears if the image is not square. It may look squashed in search results, so upload a square image.
Check that it changed
Browsers remember tab icons for a long time, so the change may show up late. Open your site in a private window to check. The icon in search results changes after the search engine reads it again.
If it does not change
If your site's HTML has an icon tag (<link rel="icon">), the browser uses that icon first. In this case, remove the icon tag from your original site or set it to the same icon.
Revert to the original icon
While a Weekerp icon is in use, Revert to original appears at the bottom of the card. Click it to go back to your original site's icon.
